LVUSD Board Meeting Tonight

Hi Team,

This evening I will be discussing technology Acceptable Use Policies for staff and students. For the last two years I have attended the Ventura County Office of Education AUP Task Force Meetings. Tonight will be the second reading of the new policies by the LVUSD Board of Education.

Here are my speaking points:

•LVUSD Student Counsels at Secondary Level

•Did not like the administrative you will be punished if…
•Responsibility
•If it goes down we all suffer
•We are ahead of the game with technology
•Tell us the rules in plain language
•Would like all teachers and admin on the same page. (ie: Cell phones, iPads, laptops)
